The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fireworks accident Friday that may cost a man part or all of both his hands.
Investigators say a 44-year old man was attempting to stuff a firework into a home made mortar launcher on Lorna Drive in Mt Orab.
They are not sure what set the gunpowder off, but the large firework exploded while the man was still trying to put it in the tube.
The man was flown to University Hospital. Investigators have not yet released his name or condition.
